Exhibition: Freedom Journey 1965 – Photographs of the Selma to Montgomery March by Stephen Sommerstein

Today is the 50th anniversary of the day called Bloody Sunday, the day where the marchers who left Selma to walk to Montgomery were assaulted and beaten by state troopers and county posse to stop them. A historical event that caused national outcry, and eventually lead to the long journey for social justice and equality, the Selma to Montgomery march of 1965.
